on a minute. It's only polite to read a little about the artist (that would be me).
I promise you the guys aren't going anywhere.
I am a retired cop living outside Tucson, Arizona and started photographing
people as a hobby for which I decidedly have a passion. Occasionally my
work is used for magazines, calendars and web content. I find it incredibly
challenging to elicit the emotion or look that I'm seeking from a model.
Models come to me from all walks of life. While some as you can see are
professionals, usually acquired through "Ten Casting Management", others
are amateurs who pose as a lark or just to earn a few extra dollars to make a
car payment. Some of my models are paid while others prefer to trade
modeling for a CD of their images.
One of my most important jobs is to make the model feel comfortable. After
all they are modeling semi-nude and nude so it is important that they feel
safe. If they are not comfortable it shows in the images. I spend the first
portion of the shoot conversing with the model to get a "feel" for their
personality and what is motivating him. Then we go over what each of us
expects from the shoot. Generally my shoots take two to three hours. If
